It's crowded and customers are most probably be ripped off, but this is a Lunar New Year ritual which most Hong Kongers partake in. Being the tourist I am, I have only been to the market at Victoria Park, which is the largest in the whole of Hong Kong. Hundreds of stalls are set up neatly along each aisles within the park and people are supposed to walk in a single direction in order to encourage a smoother human traffic flow. Yet, we spent a lot of time standing still because the crowds were not moving at all. Oh yes, and a small shuffle fight went out just mere few humans ahead of us (⊙.⊙) Of course, after making our rounds around the park, we left empty handed, because we're cheapskate like that.
