Singular Unit

Once again, I am renewing my membership with the Dry Club. (◔◡◉) Poop Facebook Emoticon

One of the worse valentine's day ever:

So K had this great idea of assembling all the available singletons for an outing. Being the great friend that I am, I decided to say "Why not?" and attended the outing. We had two major segments: to head towards Chinese University for the pretty cherry blossoms and then chilling at a cafe.

#1 - CU
After the long journey to CU, we discovered that the amount of cherry blossoms is not as advertised.
Apparently the cherry blossom trees were damaged by overly enthusiastic visitors.
But we still manage to see a handful of flowers on a lone tree. ( ′︵‵ )
The visit to the famous infinity pool/ pond which kinda compensated the lack of cherry blossoms.

#2 - Comma Cafe
The food's decent... while the company's....

Because seriously, I am not anti-valentine. I just haven't found someone to spend it with. Not having someone to spend the day with doesn't equate to hating the day... Sheesh (˘︹˘) Honestly, if I had the chance to turn back time, I would rather hang out with myself, albeit being subjected to the ultimate boredom called no-shops-are-opened-until-monday.

On the bright side, things that I appreciate while I am single:

- Be spontaneous in making plans
I can decide whether to get out the house or not after all.

- Be myself
Laugh at the lamest gags and cry at the non-emotional parts of a film. Do something stupid and have no fear in being judged or nagged at. Dress up or dress down depending on my mood instead of on occasion. Taking care of myself in all aspects first, before attending to others.

- Be free to hang out with a wide array of people
The world is filled with people coming from different background, cultures, and beliefs. There is certainly more time to meet new folks when date night is nonexistent.

& I do hope that I could still enjoy these when I am finally attached one day.
