Step of Faith

& then we were bound to the city in the mountainous area.
 Rest stop.
Just two years ago, there were no such thing as rest stop. I remember stopping at a small restaurant off the highway, next to a patrol station. The toilet was a concrete shed sans door; everybody was armed with an umbrella for modesty purposes.

Fast forward to 2014 and poof! A rest stop completed with toilets, shops, restaurant and even accommodations! This is the country of vast improvements we're talking about, and I am glad to be able to experience it.
On the way into the city.
Remember what I said about vast improvements?
This bakery x cafe is so upscale, it reminds me of Balencia down at Smithfield near HKU.
 Lunch in school.
I went mostly meatless for the 10 days and lose some weight, even though I ate more rice than normal.
(The rice here is similar to that of Japanese rice!)
This canteen block is only a few years old, but already run-down due to negligence. The most prominent problem is the oily tiled floor, which results in the sign warning everyone of the slippery ground. My students joking said that we should interpret the sign as "Be careful while you slide"!
(The sign can be understood as "Be careful of slippery floor" or "Be careful when sliding")

Should I visit again next year?
