Autumn

I've been looking forward to saying bye to the blistering summer heat and embrace the cooler temperatures with a big hug. How else can we know that autumn is coming other than the turning of the leaves?

So for our final autumn, J and I headed to Tai Tong (official name: Yuen Long Tai Lam Country Park) in hopes to admire the pretty red leaves before we leave HK for the tropics.
Lots of school-aged people here for school picnic?
"Great Wall"
Misleading signs
Some trees turn orange earlier than others.
Look at the crowd!?

It is recommended for visitors to check this website to see how much has the leaves turned in order to minimise disappointment.

Tai Tong Red Leaves
Accessible by bus K66 from bus stop below Long Ping MTR station
Follow the driveway up the mountain, not the one into the village... We had to brave fierce dogs and narrow lanes to find ourselves walking in a circle -.-
