Taiwanese Culture Night

After attending the previous cultural night by the Malaysian students, J, Y, and I once again attended the Taiwanese Culture Night for the free food (oops) and for the girls to soak in the Taiwanese culture, since they have never been to Taiwan before.
Activities for the night!
There is an abundance of goodies in the welcome pack!
That's my free bubble milk tea while I enjoy the performance from the second row.
Skit on Taiwanese people from the various past eras travelling to 2016, and still stand united for building up Taiwan. The skit ended with one of the pro-independence songs which was sung by Taiwanese student groups in a recent student-led protest.

I had to say that these individuals do have a strong belief and are very brave to express their stance in such an open manner. But then this is Hong Kong, whereby the freedom of speech is valued greatly, and also a place where people actually are more pro-independence.

While I enjoyed the food greatly, I totally take my hats off to the students for putting up such a wonderful and entertaining series of performances.
