Government House

So it is the yearly Open Day at the Hong Kong Government House. The main objective of the Open Day is for visitors to appreciate the flowers, especially azaleas, and also be impressed by the governor's house? This is kinda similar to Singapore's Istana Open House, just that the Istana is open for several times a year and an entrance fee is charged (proceeds goes to the charity).

Anyways since bestie K and I haven't been there before, we had to rely on Google Map and also the kind passers-by to locate the main entrance of the Government House.
Police vehicles. We should be near right?
Long slope behind the police vehicles.
Additional: Got stopped by a local paper for an interview on the reason for visiting
- errrr cos I have nothing better to do? Lol (*/∇\*)
Government cars. Usually the car plates have the letters "AM".
Flowers!

You were wondering why there were so many police vehicles? Because one policeman needs to advice "the lady in black" to be careful of the bumps on the road, the other policeman needs to wheel the speaker around, and the rest of the policemen need to escort unruly visitors out. Actually many activists will use such events as a platform to demonstrate their ideas. With the freedom of speak being such a prominent and strong ideology in Hong Kong, we really don't feel surprised anymore.
Hazy day: Even a skyscraper such as IFC is shrouded within the clouds.

I'll have to say that the flowers in the Government House are pretty and well manicured, although I believed many were only transplanted over the past week. Since it is free and no identification is needed, I think it'll be a good place to visit, just for the heck of it, for such a lovely spring day.
