That Instagram Pier

How do the shampoo commercials do it? ʅฺ(・ω・。)ʃฺ  ??

A fine Saturday afternoon, just right after the overseas placement briefing.
We (J, CH, me) were feeling bored from the tasks on hand, and decided to take a walk around the city.
"Why not the Instagram pier?" I asked.
"Where/What is it?" They queried.

A short walk to the end of Hill Road and we saw the entrance to the pier, right behind the Western Wholesale Food Market. This is a functional cargo pier for the market, but has gained popularity amongst photographers and local residents alike. There were people taking photos, taking strolls, jogging, walking their dogs, fishing etc etc.
I live somewhere there there.

Even when I don't have an Instagram nor do I share photos on Facebook (that's why I have a blog right?), I had fun taking photos with and without my friends lol. (/^▽^)/

And then we saw a bunch of people who seemed to be amateur choreographed dancers shooting a music video. Turns out to be a final practice for a wedding proposal! Wow this couple must really have very supportive friends to have them willing to take part in this proposal! The whole group went to hide among the cargo containers littered around the pier while waiting for the lady in question to arrive.

We didn't wait long enough to know the answer, but I guess it'll be a yes, given 1) peer pressure; 2) if your significant other asked you to meet up in a obscure place it's either to harm you or to propose so you better hope for the latter.

Overall, it was quite a comfortable place to chill out, although the government has plans to develop this stretch into a boardwalk/ park apparently. Until then!
