I guess nobody is afraid of death itself, but the process towards death. Sometimes I wonder what's the point of a funeral, other than it being a ceremony which helps the living to get a form of closure. Why bother with a tombstone, when future generations would not know their forefathers, and the plot awaiting exhumation for future land development?
Death is inevitable. There's nothing much to prepare, other than to give a heads up to our loved ones, so that they can find closure shortly after our demise from this realm. & the hope that we will meet one day in another place; a much better place above.
All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. - Ecclesiastes 3:20
