Chinese New Year

I've been visiting a lunar new year market every year ever since I'm in Hong Kong, and this year I visited the one in Yuen Long, which is much smaller than the Victoria Park one, but still packed nevertheless. The weather has been haywire these days, resulting in mostly unattractive flowers being sold to the crowds. We left without finding any blooms tolerable; the flowers were either in its full bloom or still wrapped tightly in their flower buds. We Chinese do like our flowers to be adequately blooming throughout the whole new year period for auspicious reasons, thank you very much.

A quick drive to a random street florist and dine-and-dash at the popular dessert store to end the night, and to start the Lunar New Year of 2016. 0_0
