One of the things I like about being a social science student in HKU is that most of our modules do not require examinations, so we can leave the campus once the school semester ends. Of course we have assignments pending to be submitted in the examination month of December; but most of our assignments are to be submitted online so we will mostly be submitting them from another corner of the Earth by then. Except when the lecturer demands a hard-copy submission... Like seriously?? Why can't you print the soft-copy out using the office printer, which is free for you? & expecting us to travel all the way to school just merely to submit an assignment? Party-pooper you ( ಠ.ಠ )
Rant aside, a few snaps of the last few days of school:
Welfare packs from: 1. Student Union, 2. Social Sciences Society to keep us sane during the submission + exam months.
Last visit to my plants: The crowded but thriving potato plants and the dying ginger plant. Another farmer's okra plant looks like it's ready to be harvested!
Enjoying my drink in the Centennial pond-side while watching the studious people inside the learning commons above me.
Was hardworking enough to enter the learning commons another day to use the printing facilities, and found a new 3D printer! Too bad I don't know enough to try it out.
