Joking! But still... Replying "Ok wow that's great!" already sounds too standoffish. So usually I'll give face to my friend to get to know this new person, because who knows, we may end up as fast friends!
Anyways there was an event organised by the Hong Kong Singaporean Association for SG university students to meet up in HK, and I would be meeting 2 friend's-friend at the luncheon. It feels like a blind date of sorts cos I have no idea how they look like; I only chatted to them over whatsapp several times. So while we were listening to the opening speech, I was also asking my clique to guess who's the "blind date".
The point that got us piqued was because my friend promoted his friend as "a good catch". Lol! This is what I call a good guarantor! Well my girl friends were quite impressed and excited with this "blind date candidate", while since I am already spoken for, I was more amused than anything (^_^;)
If you think I came to this luncheon to meet a good catch then you're wrong!ಠ╭╮ಠ
Heh ok la half right because I was actually lured here by the good catch - free lunch!!

The main point is:
- I do not know where you popped up from?? (I found out later, after chatting with him.)
- I didn't meet him throughout the whole semester in the end, because transportation sucks then (No direct train at both our schools and roads were blocked due to Occupy Central)
- I didn't want to sit through another awkward date/ appointment (Quota maxed out for this lifetime). *There's nothing wrong with him... but I may meet him if he has a "guarantor" to vouch for him heh.
So throughout the whole semester I did the "Sure! Let's meet up some time." whereby the "some time" never occur muahahahaha. Ok end of story.
