Family Towning

Town was one of my family's favourite hangouts back in 1990s. Singapore was a quiet city state back then and there were nothing much to keep us occupied on weekends, especially when we used to be unreligious. As Singapore continued to develop, our hangouts were mainly peppered around the eastern side of Singapore, and we no longer frequent town area for leisure purposes.

Fast forward to the 21st century, we are back visiting the town area as a family. The Gundam exhibition was for my brother's interest, which had him so mesmerised that we left him alone, instead of tagging along behind him. Second stop was the viewing point at ION Sky, which offers a 360 degree view of Singapore. I'll have to say this place is better than Duxton because it is indoors (not exposed to weather elements) and also because it's free! We ended the day with a long bus ride home, and the thought that the next family outing would be many many days in the future.
