Spring Time

Lunch at a cafe after church as usual. Surprisingly, it was I who made the suggestion. Mayhaps it is because cafes often gave off the vibes of being laid back, which I desperately needed, after the 9 hours of hard work typing my mid-term paper in the school library yesterday.

K and I chose to walk around Fa Hui, or translated to Flower Market, while waiting for the cafes to be opened. It was indeed a feast for the eyes with the multitudes of flowers and plants available for sale. I think guys in Hong Kong will have an easy time during the valentine's day; all you'll ever need is a trip here and you'll be spoilt for choice. I really have no idea where guys in Singapore get their flowers from, especially when florists are few and far between. Do you all get flowers from the wet market's florists like my family too?

As much as I want to get some fresh flowers to brighten up my room, it is really impractical because I don't really have a lot of space for unnecessary stuff here. But seriously, which girl doesn't like flowers? ;) Mayhaps I should add Fa Hui into my list of hangouts to better appreciate the season of Spring.
