Prehistorical times

This is my last post of home before flying back for school. In case you were wondering why there are only a handful of posts for my summer break back home, that's because I was working full time for 2 months. I know I know, why work during holidays when you will be working for the next 40+ years of your life? Well, I did manage to keep myself a tad bit more up to date with the government policies and also earned some pocket money. Although I'm now re-thinking if I should do the same for the next holiday heh.

Anyways, ever since the previous visit to the Gardens by the Bay, I was left with a yearning to walk along the OCBC Skyway. (I didn't get a chance to go up there previously because my some of my companions are scared of heights so I didn't push the issue.) As much as there have been talks with many people of ever going there again, it seems like no plan has ever materialise except for this time. Big THANK YOU to Hannah for playing tourist with me! The girl took leave from work to accompany me leh! So touched TTM!!!!
The tickets were $5, and the visit can be completed within 5 minutes, if plain walking is of your interest. We were lucky enough to go just in between the rain showers, when the skyway is deemed safe enough from lightning hazards.

The skyway is not as tall as I imagined, but the view will delude you to think that you're back in prehistorical times. I mean, the metallic "trees" amongst the unkempt greenery showered with heaven's dew... I can even picture a dinosaur popping up any minute.

We were finding our way out when we spotted a strange phenomenon of a floating baby.

& that marks almost all the attractions which I wanted to visit back home! Can't wait for the next holiday to go visit the Trick Eye Museum!
