Cycling!!!!!!

The long long long long awaited cycling trip!
Thank you for YW for the planning
and Khim for being sporting enough to join us
One more thing off my bucket list!

To astound you guys... This is the route which we travelled from 9pm on Friday till 8am on Saturday:
Almost as long as a MRT line!

We started off at East Coast (entered from the VJC part) and headed towards Changi on a whim. It was one of the longest part of our journey filled with nothing and all I did was stoning while cycling and contemplating life issues.

Reached Changi Village after 10 pm and got our first break after almost breaking our legs.

Headed towards Bedok 85 on another whim and got our second break around midnight.

Started off to town via Nicoll Highway and town's real pretty at night =)
 On Nicoll Highway =)

Next rest stop!
Funny that the toilet lights went out halfway and we're not sure what happened still....

Passed by the floating platform and saw many soldiers keeping guard as there'll be Nation Day Rehearsals the next day.

On the Esplanade Bridge!

We wanted to go down to the Merlion but it's not accessible by bikes. The security guard at the One Fullerton isn't very helpful as well. Mayhaps cos we stink and we wore pants... Unlike the patrons at the club =/
Lay down behind The Fullerton Waterboat house while waiting for YW to see how to get to either the Merlion or Lau Pa Sat

Ended up at Lau Pa Sat, our last rest stop, around 3am. They took a short nap while I stoned since I didn't dare to fall asleep in such public areas.

Headed back to East Coast around 5am and lay at the Bedok Jetty in hopes to see the sun rise. Fat hope on that one so we stoned/napped till 8am to return our bikes.

It's real cool trip but then I'm getting too old for strenuous trips like this. =(

p.s. Thank God for the wonderful weather!!! =D
