I need to work on that!
Lok's confession #1:
I actually dislike meeting at Orchard because of it's circular MRT station that gets everybody walking in circles too.
This happened while we were waiting for the last latecomer:

A foreigner approached us and wanted to know more about adding value into her Ez-Link card. Too bad it's a standard ticket, and it's only for one-time use. Lost at our explanation, our helpful Derrick brought her to the ticketing machine and *poof* lots more (about ten more) of the same gang appeared from all directions. Nice guy helped each and everyone in the gang =O
Give that guy a prize please!

Walked around Ngee Ann City while we waited for our tables.
Lok's confession #2:
I couldn't remember the last time I went to Ngee Ann City... Few years ago mayhaps? I know I know... I need to be educated in towning since many things has changed!
Due to the crowds, we only managed to start dinner at 9pm. F our lives because most of us had light lunches (I only had a filling breakfast).
Lok's confession #3:
I actually dislike eating steamboat with people with a different background as I. Not that I hate diversity or interaction with other cultures, but we do have our own eating style. I have been subjected to weird glances if my company were polite; outright commentary from less graceful companions. Rather than subject myself through awkward situations as such, I rather contain myself and "act normal". "Normal" as defined by the culture of my company.
Bearing our large tummies, we went in search of any helpful individuals to aid us in taking our group photo:
It's funny how we stuck together even though we are all so different =)
