CNY Lunchy

Starting the Chinese festive season with a company lunch today.
Actually it started last week (friday) for the residents, today is for us and tomorrow for workers down at the branch.

Vintage feel settings which brings us back to those days where we rather run around the restaurant rather than sit down to munch on food. =)

8 courses: (not in order cause the food just kept coming)
Yusheng
A chinese salad toss with salmon slices and crispy crackers

Braised duck
Boneless yay!

Sweet and sour fish
Slightly spicy too!

Deep fried prawn with mayo and honey dew
♥ this dish!

Abalone mushroom with vegetable
Got to balance the diet somehow...

Fried ee mee
Got to fill the tummy somehow...

Kong bak pao
Or what I always refer it as: Chinese hamburger. The fatty pork is fatty!

Yam paste
Cooked with gingko nuts and pumpkin

& free flow ginseng tea or 7-up!
Obviously I chose the bubbles =)

The cool thing is how they cooked for the 100++ people (friday) and 40++ people (today) using outdoor cooking =O

Did I mention all this is done in our dining hall? The one hour plus was surreal enough for us, let alone for the residents who enjoyed their lunch with live music =O
