Victoria Peak - Take 2

I have a suspicion that my previous hike up the Victoria Peak was via a more challenging route, because I was walking amongst crowds of elderly and push pram families alike, and nobody was panting as hard as J and I were previously! What were we doing 2 years ago seriously?!

Since it was the Double Ninth Festival, my uncle, aunt, and I decided to take a hike up the Victoria Peak before heading to my grandparents' house. To be honest, I have no idea what Double Ninth is??? Apparently it was a day to commemorate some Chinese guy's defeat over a monster/ the most "yang" (masculine) day of the year/ the day for grave sweeping? All I know is that it's another public holiday for something which nobody knew the reason for.
