I wish upon an orange

Semester break is finally here!! \(^▽^@)ノ
What else could be better than to get out of the HK Island and stretch our legs?Although the weather is gloomy today, C and I headed down to the wishing tree because I haven't been there before.

The arch at the village entrance.

The tree in the middle of the grounds. Doesn't it look like a giant bonzai?

The original wishing tree which is sectioned off due to safety concerns.

The fake mandarin orange and paper card for you to fill in your wishes.
It cost HKD$25 (p_q),
& NO CHANGE IS TENDERED SO DO BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT HERE!
(So tempted to bring my own apple/orange/ whatever here to throw instead #cheapskate)

If you don't know what to write, you can always just tick the boxes as you wished.

I didn't tick all because I'm not greedy like that. ( ˘ v ˘ )

The fake tree for you to throw your fake orange accompanied by the fake gold ingot. #EverythingAlsoFake
Yes, the whole tree is fake! Made of fiberglass I think?

Happy kid lol
Finally got my wish up onto the tree after many attempts! Apparently, the higher the orange is stuck at, the higher the probability of attaining your wishes. Maybe it's better to throw the orange towards the top of the tree from afar than throw up onto the branches from directly below?? But anyway you are lucky if your orange didn't get blown away in the first place! C was throwing a fallen orange while waiting for me to get mine onto the tree.

& The stone monkey is found at the wishing circle?

This wishing thing is getting out of hand seriously...
