Loi Krathong X Korean Food Fair X Malay Food
(Yes, we did that many things within a short evening.)
It started with J.Y.Y making impromptu plans to visit the Korean Food Fair at Tsim Sha Tsui. Since we had a couple of hours to burn, Yeji and I joined the lantern making activity which was part of the Loi Krathong event put up by the Thai Culture class. (We actually wanted to just eat the free Thai food, but buffet is only offered from 8pm onwards.)
Eventually, we made it to Tsim Sha Tsui, which we realised was a huge disappointment because all we saw were long lines queuing to sample free Korean food, and the queues were already cut due to the limited portions.
Roamed aimlessly and decided to venture into Chungking Mansions for the Malay food stall which the HKU Malaysians sang praises about. Yes, Chungking Mansions. The food was delicious, but still not comparable with those back home. Or perhaps, we could eat freely back home without being stared at every so often.
Nevertheless, Chungking Mansions - checked!
