Walk around

Wanting to stretch my legs, I found myself getting onto the bus bounded for Kowloon; dropping off at Kowloon Walled City. This was the estate where my father grew up in, and I like how the estate still kept its charm from its glorious days of the 1980s.

Being just streets away from the previous Kai Tak International Airport, the low-rise apartment buildings in Kai Tak saw endless planes hovering over their roofs before landing dangerously yet smoothly onto the tarmac of the airport. Obviously, the estate was known for its ample variety of food offerings, especially with food items freshly off the plane cargo. Currently, the estate still offers some of the city's most authentic Thailand food with the many Thailand restaurants and grocery stores peppered around, leftover from the Thai culture craze which came with the economic bloom in the 1980s.

Anyways, I am actually on a mission to find a cute table calendar, having found one for my year 2014. Too bad I ended the trip empty handed.
